Hi, my name is Nick. I am a math graduate student and software engineer. In my spare time, I like to work on an open source Minecraft clone that I have been calling malloc-craft.

I recently watch a great YouTube video about the indie internet. In this video, onionboots talks about a movement that is pushing for a return to form for the internet, where it is less corporatized and there are more smaller sites that people have just for fun.

While watching this video, I became quite inspired to start a site where I could talk about some of my more niche interests[without driving my loved ones crazy:)]. So, I decided to throw together a simple static HTML/CSS/JS site where I could do exactly this. This is the result :)

I anticipate I will mostly post about malloc-craft and interesting problems I face during its development. I would also love to occasionally post about some cool math I am doing, or whatever seems interesting at the time.

This being said, I also plan to add more fun things to this site. For example, I'd love to have a little JavaScript game where you can walk around a room and do menial tasks. Maybe this could exist as a simple chatroom with little minigames you could do for fun.

Anyways, thanks for reading! I doubt anybody made it this far, but if you did, welcome!

Best,
Nick
